Like many cars in Maintenance of Way service, Derrick Sleeping car 911435 started life as a heavyweight
passenger car, in this case a coach. When the need for secondary trains declined, many of the older cars
were converted to a new use for track maintenance crews, wreck train service or snowplow support train service.
