ALCo (Cooke) originally built Rotary Plow 900083 as a steam powered plow in February of 1910,
for the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul and Pacific. At a later time the Milwaukee converted the plow
to electric operation using catenary (overhead power distribution). The Union Pacific acquired
the plow in 1982 and converted it to locomotive supplied electric operation. The plow was retired in 1988.
