Boeing B-52G-100-BW Stratofortress Bearin' Arms, S/N 58-0191, was manufactured
by Boeing Aircraft Corporation in Wichita, Kansas, and delivered to the USAF on
16 October 1959. During its active career this B-52 was stationed at several California
air bases including Beale AFB, Mather AFB, Edwards AFB and Castle AFB. In 1991
the plane made its final flight from Castle AFB to Hill AFB, Utah where it joined the
museum collection as a static display. An appreciation of the size of this plane is gained
by noting the relative size of the family standing in front of the plane and the person
seated under the tail.
