The main dispatch panel. Here are the controls for many of the features of the layout, from siding switches to the remote cameras and monitors scattered around the layout. The main panels are equipped with block occupancy annunciators, making it is possible to tell where trains are even when they're not in direct or CCTV view. The only things not controlable from here are the outlying industrial trackage, the engine terminal and the passenger and visible freight yards. The 'Hidden' staging yard can be operated from here via closed circuit television and route controls. During shows, this is where you'll find the majority of train crews. Garrett Kirby photo
